Should you wish to leave the can, you can take a free ferry to the beautiful old town, or take a stroll on the pier before enjoying a meal and the view from an outdoor restaurant. In Sarpsborg, you find a large activity and water park, while outdoor swimming can be experienced at Kongstenbadet approx. 10 minutes’ drive from the apartment. The beaches in the area are some of the best Norway has to offer, with a short distance to Hankø (13 km), Engelsviken (20 km) and Foten (15 km). In Fredrikstad, the whole family can walk the path Bjørneløypa with animal sculptures. Take an evening walk here with a flashlight, guaranteed an exciting experience for the children.
